Mail handling procedures

This information applies only to our Brisbane office. It does not apply to our regional contact centres.

Australia Post deliveries

Australia Post mail is screened by an external screening centre before it is delivered. This should not affect delivery times.

Over-the-counter deliveries (non-couriers)

You must remove documents from envelopes before handing them to staff at our Upper Plaza counter.

Couriers

Couriers must deliver all packages to the external screening centre. Once screened, these items are forwarded to us the next working day, unless the:

• sender contacts us and requests that the package be delivered directly

and

• building security staff on Plaza level are notified of the
  • name of the recipient
  • expected arrival time
  • name of the courier company
  • sender details.

If security is not notified before delivery, they will send the package to the external screening centre. Security will not call staff to check package arrivals.
