Objections & appeals

We act according to the law for taxes and entitlements.  If you feel we have made an incorrect decision, you have the right to object.

On receiving an objection, we will:

  • treat your objection fairly
  • consider all grounds and request further information if required
  • make a decision to allow or disallow the objection and provide reasons for that decision
  • explain any rights of further review or appeal if you disagree with the decision.

We will provide a better service if you:

  • provide information promptly if requested
  • follow the correct process for making an objection.

If you are dissatisfied with an objection decision, you may have the right to appeal
