Counter services
We provide the following services at any OSR service centre. To allow for faster service, please ensure you bring all relevant documentation and forms with you.
Over the counter services we provide include:
- payments for all taxes and fees administered by the Office of State Revenue
- issuing of land tax clearance certificates
- lodgement of documents for assessment
- lodgement of First Home Owner Grant applications
- answers to general enquiries
OSR forms are also available from our office counter areas. We do not hold forms from other government departments.
You may also be able to pay duties at Department of Natural Resources and Mines service centres.
Payments
Documents liable for duties will be stamped and delivered immediately when payment is made by:
- cash
- bank cheque
- money order
- solicitor's trust account cheque
- accountant's trust account cheque
- credit union or building society's own cheque (not drawn on customer's account)
For payments made by other types of cheque of amounts more than $100, we will hold the documents for five business days to allow for the payment to clear.
Cheques for all payments should be made payable to the Office of State Revenue.
Lodgement of documents for assessment
Documents requiring assessment can be lodged at the counter. Documents lodged this way must have a Form TR1 attached.
