I am applying directly through the Office of State Revenue, how long will it take for my application to be processed?
Once a fully completed application is received, most applications are processed within 10 working days if no further documentation is required.
When will I get paid?
If you are applying for the grant through an approved agent -
for the purchase of an existing dwelling, payment will be made at settlement;
for a building contract, payment will be made on the first progress payment, where the first progress payment is equal to or exceeds $7000 (does not include the deposit).
If you are applying for the grant through the Office of State Revenue -
for the purchase of an existing dwelling, payment will be made after settlement;
for a building contract, payment will be made following production of evidence to the Office of State Revenue that final inspection has occurred;
for an owner builder, payment will be made following production of evidence to the Office of State Revenue that final inspection has occurred and the cost of building the home (not including the labour), is equal to or exceeds $7000.
