As one of you is a permanent resident, you are eligible to apply for the Grant. Remember, you are eligible if you, or a joint applicant, are an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
A permanent resident must provide one form of Primary ID from the following list:
- A certified copy of a current foreign passport with proof of permanent residence status; or
- A certified copy of a current New Zealand passport with the entry stamp clearly demonstrating the last date of entry into Australia; or
- A certified copy of a certificate of residence issued by the Department of Immigration.
