Supporting documentation
You must provide all relevant supporting documentation with your application.
You should view the supporting documentation checklist in the Queensland's First Home Owner Grant application kit.
To ensure that your application is processed in a timely manner, the supporting documentation checklist should be completed, signed and attached to your application.
Note: all copies of supporting documents must be certified. Please refer to the supporting documentation checklist within your FHOG application kit.
Purchase of an existing home
Applying for the Grant through the Office of State Revenue:
- a complete, signed and dated copy of the contract of sale
- the registration confirmation statement issued by the Department of Natural Resources
- proof of identity
Application lodged through financial institution:
- signed copy of the contract of sale
- proof of identity
Comprehensive building contract to build a new home
Applying for the Grant through the Office of State Revenue:
- signed copy of the building contract
- proof of identity
- a copy of the inspection summary or final inspection report indicating that the home is fit for occupation
Application lodged through financial institution:
- signed copy of the building contract
Applying for the Grant through the Office of State Revenue:
- proof of commencement and completion of construction, eg. footings inspection report and final inspection reports
- proof of identity
- evidence of building expenses
Application lodged through financial institution:
- proof of commencement of construction, eg. inspection report
- proof of identity
