How can I get the grant?

First check if you are eligible.

How can I get the grant sooner?

If you apply through an approved agent or lending institution, you may get the grant sooner than if you applied directly to us.

How long do I have to apply?

You must apply for the grant within 1 year of buying or building your home.

In some cases, this period may be extended.

When do I have to move into my home?

You must move into your home within 1 year and you must live there for at least 6 months in order to keep the grant.

What happens if my circumstances change and I am no longer able to move into my home?

If your circumstances change and you are no longer able to move into your home, you must tell us.

Depending on the nature of your circumstances, you may have to pay back the grant.
