Bulk end users (BEUs)

Overview

The Office of State Revenue pays the Subsidy direct to licensed BEUs for all unsubsidised fuel purchased and used for an eligible purpose.

Claims for the Subsidy are made directly to the Office of State Revenue for the BEU fuel used during the claim period. You must be licensed as a BEU under the Scheme to be able to claim the Subsidy.

The Government recognises that BEUs incur costs from claiming the Subsidy in arrears and has increased the payment to 8.4 cents per litre to compensate for this cost.
