How does the Fuel Subsidy Scheme affect me?
The Queensland Fuel Subsidy Scheme ensures that Queensland motorists enjoy the full benefit of the Fuel Subsidy.
You do not need to do anything to receive the Subsidy. The Subsidy is paid directly to fuel retailers, your local petrol station, which is required to pass on the benefit of the Subsidy by lowering the price they charge you for the fuel they sell by 8.354 cents per litre.
In other words, the Subsidy is delivered directly at the bowser to Queensland motorists.
