Site organisation
The design of the site is based on a common look and feel for all Queensland Government. The idea behind this design is that customers of government services can expect all Queensland Government web sites to look, and work, in a similar fashion.
Please refer to the site map for a visual of the site's organisation.
The horizontal navigation under the OSR banner directs you to the relevant areas of the site. These include:
- About OSR
- Client services
- Taxes
- First home owner grant
- Fuel subsidy
- Legislation & administration.
Each section contains related information. To view the contents of a section, select the item from the navigation as follows:
- if using a mouse, move your cusor over a link to reveal a sub menu list of items for selection;
- if using a keyboard, tab to the link to reveal a sub menu list of items for selection.
Secondary navigation options, related to the topic you are browsing, appear on the left hand side of the page. These options may include drop-down lists, which are activated when you click on the small '+' sign next to the navigation item. When the list is expanded the '+' will change to a '-'. Clicking the '-' will close the list.
Information is grouped by category - please select the appropriate category from the menu on the left.
Frequently asked questions also include drop-down options, which are activated when you click on the small '+' sign next to the relevant question or by selecting the question itself. When the question is expanded the '+' will change to a '-'. Clicking the '-' will close the question or deselect the question.
Breadcrumbs offer further help with navigation. They show the logical path from our homepage to the page you are currently. Breadcrumbs allow you to link to any page along that path. The page you are on, however, will not be linked.
