e-Revenue Queensland Issue 9 October 2008
e-learning tool coming to OSR website
The Office of State Revenue (OSR) will soon be launching a new online training program to help clients improve the efficiency and accuracy of their interactions with OSR.
The ‘e-learning’ tool will help clients and their new employees understand how to meet their obligations under the legislation and how to correctly lodge returns.
Each interactive training module will include an educational component and a voluntary testing component to help determine the user’s level of understanding. This will allow clients to further develop their skills and knowledge as well as assess their employees’ competency of each module.
Users will be able to undertake training at their own convenience through the OSR website.
Initially duties and pay-roll tax modules will be released with other revenue streams to follow at a later date.
More information about OSR’s e-learning initiatives including launch dates will be published in future editions of e-Revenue Queensland.
