New interactive help
We now have interactive forms on our website to help you determine if a particular transaction is exempt.
Use them to assess variations of trusts and transactions exempt under:
- section 90 of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cwlth) (FLA)
- section 90L of the FLA
- section 90WA of the FLA
- section 424 of the Duties Act 2001.
A copy of the form may be printed for your records. See interactive help for more information.
Christmas/New year closure
The Office of State Revenue (OSR) and the Queensland Government Service Centre (QGSC) will be closed during the following Christmas/New year period:

During this time, you can still access our website to lodge and pay online using OSRconnect or to find information.
Note: The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) will also be closed during this period.
Land tax system upgrade
Our old land tax system will be upgraded to our new revenue management system (RMS) on 21 December 2009. The upgrade will begin on Saturday 12 December, and may cause delays in clearance application processing.
To minimise delays, please lodge your land tax clearance applications as soon as possible. We will try to process all applications within 10 working days.
You can still lodge online through CITEC during this period.
Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) users—OSRconnect access coming soon!
If you are running Internet Explorer 8, you will soon be able to lodge online using OSRconnect.
We will advise you by email once the system has been upgraded. We will also publish this information on our website.
If you have been issued with a payroll tax coupon book, but wish to lodge online, please email us after you receive confirmation that OSRconnect access is available to IE8 users.
