Registration for Duties Online

To use Duties Online you will need to:

You can apply for registration to be a self assessor by completing Approved Form OSR-D12.1 (Application for registration - self assessor) and submitting it to OSR. 

OSR will consider your application and, if approved, register you as a self assessor.  After you have been registered we will send you your:

  1. Notice of Registration which outlines the terms of your registration and explains your obligations as a self assessor
  2. client number and username
  3. password, sent separately to ensure security
  4. stamp to endorse documents upon payment (for transfer self assessors only).
  5. training material (including cd demonstration) and users guide: Managing your returns online.

If you are registered to self assess multiple tax streams (for example, insurance duty, mortgage duty, transfer duty or pay-roll tax) you will be issued with a separate username and password for each.

Please keep your password and username confidential.

If you lose or forget your password, or suspect that your password has been compromised, you should immediately call the Client Contact Centre on 1300 300 734.
