Pay-roll tax Harmonisation

The Queensland Government is committed to cutting red tape and reducing compliance costs for businesses. As part of this commitment, the Pay-roll Tax (Harmonisation) Amendment Bill 2008 was passed in Parliament on 16 April 2008 and received Royal Assent on 23 April 2008. To find out more, read on!

What is harmonisation

From 1 July 2008, key aspects of Queensland’s pay-roll tax system will be harmonised with that of NSW and VIC.
